Don't be frightened to use a bit of colour and be bold enough to showcase even the smallest artist... in this case my youngest son Noah's bedroom and his own art

The giant clean up.  My sister is a teacher and spent time with Noah this holidays on his bedroom.... Which as with all children, had become a schmoozle... Here are their before and after shots:

Tray for another day

Don't throw it out, redesign it.

I love trays, I can never have enough of them, the ultimate in usefulness and always ready to be redesigned.  I made this tray for my younger sister's Christmas present.  This photo of us was always called the two headed monster... she has an addiction to trays herself.

Industrial

Letters, numbers, stencils, old signs, re-purposing old boxes... it can be as simple as an old wooden cheese box.

All in the detail

Rich texture and pattern is a driving passion especially outside and entertaining

Nesting and blending to create emphasis: fabric, photography and prints amid a theme

Strip it back

Loving this little cupboard I picked up in the hard rubbish.  Just stripping it back has restored its charm.

Floor Decal

 This floor design is incredible.  The power of its size in a room would be breathtaking.

Textile inspriation

Fabric: texture, colour, patterns, stripes. I am addicted to beautiful textiles and breaking rules with them...
